Let me be the first to hail the new champions of the NW creek comp raft race, beating out the local ORT boys down on CC Lewis yesterday.

Fast and clean boys and girls!!!

Way to go Jed and Scott. Those rafts must be extra fast right out of the box!

Great weekend!

Well, let's assume a new raft is extra fast out of the box (it's probably true on a subtle level). Lets even be gracious enough to assume it could account for a two second lead or so.

But COME ON:
you can't overlook the obvious. It is the BOATERS in that new raft that account for such a big lead. Matter of fact, talk is cheap.

Let's see some times posted. There can't be that many race teams. Can someone post EVERY TEAM'S times and their names?

I had to miss the event. Sounds like I missed some glory in action, too.

I watched these lads come off the starting line and head over Thrasher. Every other raft got at least a little stern into the hole and lost momentum. But team Hawks/Waidelich fully aired it over Thrasher and touched down at maximum speed. Probably picked up 10s right there.

Way to go, guys.

Nick said that in consolation for incorrectly spelling Jed's last name we can modify one letter in his.

James can you please change nick's PP name to Mr. Hands?

Nice job guys!

And that is a sweet looking ride, Jed. That AIRE 130E is my favorite boat for small paddle teams, R2-R5.
