We have a hawk in our area that does that to our chickens. He picks them up, takes them up about 100 ft and drops them...chow time! It's kinda cool to see, but it's also irritating to keep losing chickens.
If you're not prepared to be wrong you'll never come up with anything new.
Man I couldn't believe that bird could hold onto all that weight! I mean, We know the physics are sound. His wings seemd to be big enough. I'm surprised to find out that the bird knows, too. It's beyond what I would expect from nature. let me put it that way.
