When do all the Skykomish rafters and raft tours start hittin the river? I've never paid much attention when they are out but I want to paddle around the same time and catch some BD carnage...

Basically all outfitters are already booking and running trips. But the bulk of the season will be from early June through August. Basically, when the kids get out of school, the rafting starts. I'll be guiding this weekend, but it'll be a small trip. Your best bet for seeing large groups on the river is on vacation weekends though.

If you really want to see carnage go to the White salmon between 2.75 and 2.50 feet. They start running husum falls at 2.75 and it's juicy, the first busy weekend will provide plenty of opportunity for whitewater voyeurism.

Carnage update.  So the most carnage prone levels are between 7500 and 6800 cfs when we have to run the middle.  The ledge hole has been handing out the most flips/ dumptrucks/ swims.  Saturdays and Sundays are still your best bet, companies usually run a morning and afternoon trip.
