A river, buried for 100 years is being reborn as I type this. Happy day!

Looks like there's gonna be some good river booty down stream of the dam... Anyone need a couple ladders?

In case, like me, you were wondering.. "Dismantling the rest of the dam will begin next spring, and is expected to be complete by the end of August 2012." I was hoping for some more explosions..one thing at a time I guess!

More water, please.

Also what was moving around upstream of the dam on river left (right side of the screen)? Sometimes it looked like people, other times it looked like buoys. The resolution was just fuzzy enough that it was hard to tell.

There were some buoys up on the river left (screen right) bank. Also looks like there's a new waterfall right at the bottom of the screen for the northwestern lake camera. Can't say for sure, but it's been pretty stable for a while now, there's a good chance that'll stick around.

After seeing a higher res video looking upstream from the dam it appears that the "waterfall" from the feed yesterday is actually the remnants of the coffer dam that diverted water during the construction of Condit. Hopefully they remove that too, otherwise it'll be one nasty hole.

Yes that waterfall is the coffer dam. They will be removing.
