I've run the Sauk 5+ times, but only at low-medium flows. I'm especially curious about how the rapid jaws changes at high flows (above 4000 on Sauk above Whitechuck times 1.5). Can anyone give a detailed description of Jaws at these levels?   Thanks!

sorry dude, I'm busy from now until after the river's dried up. Saturday was my last run on the Sauk for a while. I'm still curious about Jaws at high water, I heard some SH** went down on a commercial trip today.

So if you run the Jaws drop five times then your are aware of the tree up against the right bank near
the deamon seed hole.
At higher water you get pushed right.
If you choose the center then the stuff is
much bigger. As you approach above this catch a right side eddy and take a look.

I'm certainly aware of the wood on the right in jaws.  It sounds like the lateral that pushes you towards it gets much bigger, and the pour overs at the bottom become monstrous waves/holes.  Is there a route around the left side?

The line is the same, just pushier. If you enter through the tongue center right it can push you toward the log, but you have time to recover.
