what is a good beginner flow for this run? BrianP and I took a look at it last Sunday and it looked like a freaking monster. We were asking ourselves, "do people run it at these flows?" The PP page said it was around 650cfs last Sunday. That's high right? We couldn't find the cup rock so I'm not able to tell you what the visual gage was. Perhaps you could give me some good info about this run?

The cup is located near the waterfall. When you stand next to the wall looking at FITW proper, look straight down and you'll see an obvious cup rock. The truth lies in the cup, think about it like full, half full and empty. full= high, half full= medium empty= low.
The line will become apparent

650 is fine but its all in who you ask. Once you know this run you can start pushing the level.   High is different for everyone.. haha litterally !!

I might see you guys up there tomorrow !!!!!

I like it low, and I'm suspecting the cup will be almost empty tomorrow.

When you headed up there Chris?

are you leaving around 4pm or will you be arriving at Fall in the Wall at 4pm? if 400 is the "nice and friendly fun" water level, then I may be interested in joining you, but can't be there until about 5.

Probably be there around 5pm too. I am hoping its in the 400s. It is a good level and not to pushy with no big holes to speak of. I know the class V testosterone paddlers dont like it that low, but I am not one of them. I think it is a fun very pretty run at low levels with little beat down chance.
