Ok so I'm getting my hopes up for Tuesday. Who else has it off?

I do. And I plan on paddling one way or the other. Sky drainage looks like it'll have some tributaries with water in them. Robe will obviously be too high if the rain matches the graph.

I'd like to get out Wed n Thurs as well. If the forecast is correct Icicle could be in.

depending on when it starts raining...
i think it would be cool to get a pilchuck lap early taking advantage of the smaller drainage coming up faster and then moving over to the sky drainage in the afternoon.

here's hoping for hard rain early!

I could possibly be in for an early Pilchuck lap anytime this week. I posted a river alert about wood early on in the run. Worth a look if you plan on being out there this week. With the higher water it comes up fast!

well it seems we finaly get some warm rain , suposed to be one of the bigest  rain on snow events of the season.... only time will tell

some epic surf features may come in if the storm hits the right way ....i can only take one day off this week, hard to tell wich will be the most rare day for bigwater .... so far the Naselle wave has been in for 3 days this whole season back in Nov. and this may be the last time this seaons it forms up, if at all ... it looks like the storm is going to hit more on the north olympic

the moshpit should go huge, wich is another epic park and play   ... anyways if anyone is ventureing to the far corners of western WA for some sweet park and play, maby ill see ya there , im just a slave to the storm so hard to say what will happen till the morning of ..... who knows maby ill get a day on the north fork Tilton .. as much as i would like to go hit Pilchuck , driveing north of Oly on a weekday (or any day) is to much for me, when i have the trafic free lands to the south and west to enjoy

have fun rideing the storm!      these are rare days

Also, as a before or after thing, limpwrist could be at a healthy flow. Something to consider if anybody wants to do a pretty clean park and huck.

Conner, what is a good level range for Limp Wrist? Do you use the FITW gauge?
You only get the chance to run a drop blind once.

Over 4,000 on the Snoqualmie Tanner gauge is usually good. It's pretty hard to gauge though.

Regarding Limp Wrist (or, "Boxed Lunch", as it was originally named):
I've heard that watching both south and middle fork Snoq guages is the way to go-- ask Fish he oughta know.. pretty much gotta drive up there w/ boat and look at it.

Definitely boating Wednesday in the Sky Drainage. Maybe get a healthy flow on the Foss or Rapid. Pilchuck is out of my driving range, but it should be good with this rain on snow. You guys should definitely post some firm meet-times so PPeeps can join you. I still might even make it over there for wed if it goes off then.

Yeah, Ima queue up for some sky drainage Wed a.m. and take it from there. Less driving, more boating.

Pilchuck might be good Wed though, for those interested. If I didn't have to drive past so much whitewater to get up to Pilchuck, I'd go there. It's just so flashy. If you go wed I recommend being Johnny OnTheSpot Early. You can always wait for the water to drop if its too high for your liking (but I doubt it will even get that high- who knows?). Certainly a rare gem when you can catch it.

Sky offers a safe bet of options to choose from no matter what the flows will be tomorrow and its much closer for me. So thats where I'll be.
