Lost a paddle about half a mile above Paradise take-out on upper Green on Sunday April 14, has Snapdragon pogies and my name on it.

Bump, and also just pointing out that contrary to popular belief Mike was not covering for me, he actually did lose his paddle. :)  Class III rapid, Class V hole. Big thanks to Ken from CO for miraculously appearing with a breakdown paddle at the exact right moment.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a paddle.

I think he probably did it intentionally, just to make it tougher, and then somebody showed up with a breakdown to ruin those plans!

Nash was probably just doing some underwater reconassaince for a more challeging cave route down to paradise ledge. Naturally, the paddle did him no benefit down there so he left it behind.

Not before he punched it into 12 pieces so that a lesser male of the species couldn't find if and try to paddle like Nash.
