For the Wenatchee Playrun (Leavenworth to Cashmere), the solo boater can do an easy shuttle with the Chelan County Link Transit bus.  Route 22 runs from right outside the Cashmere mini market up to Peshastin, Happy Wave, and Leavenworth.  $1 fare.  Weekdays - the bus comes by about 35 after the hour.  Saturdays - about every 2 hours.  Sundays - gotta ride your bike.  The bus schedule is online.
I drop my stuff at the put in, lock my boat, paddle (use a retractable ski lock), and gear and then drive down the the takeout.  Bus back up to the put in and go.
The Wenatchee Playrun maintains interesting playspots down to ~1000 CFS.

Fare is $1.25 now. They don't give change either.

I am so happy to have read this post. I just got a new (well used) mamba 7.5 and want to try it on our local run. I have the week off work and nobody to play with sooo...I have given a great deal of thought to solo paddling. I know the lines at every possible level. When I go with one other person we usually take a bike and lock it up in the bush, so I would do the same thing for me.
