Paddled Middle Icicle twice this week. Once from the normal put in at 8 mile campground to the take out the other time from bridge creek down to the take out.I did not run upper or lower icicle.

Middle Icicle has a couple pieces of wood to be concerned about.

The first is on a class 3 left hand turn below the bridge creek rapid but above eight mile campground(not pictured). People normally bonk down the left channel but their is a downed log there clogging the left side of the channel. Its avoidable but you have to head toward the right side of the left channel and bounce down some rocks to avoid it.

The second and third are in house rapid. The first(pictured) is in the right hand sneak of house drop. A tree has fallen in from the right bank and is hanging at chest level just below the penalty box that you can get shoved into. Might be hard to avoid if you go into the penalty box. The normal left line boof is clear.

The third(pictured) is in the class 3 run out of house drop as the river bends left just above the pool. Its in the middle of the first ledge. It is really hard to see.Its buried in the water in a bad place. Taking the far left channel will avoid it.

The last piece(pictured) is in the double boof drop. This is the drop above the plunge. The log is sticking straight up at the bottom of the second boof and blocking the normal exit channel.

Other then that the run is awesome and running at a good solid level as of the 16th

Just hoping that the wood is only there for early season Icicle and that high water does some work for us cleaning it out...
