Think it's hot enough for a little melt. Anyone up for an after work run on the East Side Olympic? Hamma Hamma, Duckabush or Dosewallips?

Yo Chris, it's Adam....

I will be going up tomorrow (Thursday) to take advantage of the flows. The dosewallips is good fun at these flows....

I am potentially interested in the Dosewallips this weekend. Has anyone been out there recently?

NZA - I've been up there a lot. The water is still translucent blue/green, rocks are still moss covered, the locals are semi-friendly, and wood is constantly moving through the river. Shoot me a PM if you're looking for specific info

Adam and I ran the Dosewallips and the Duckabush today after work today and it was great!   The Dosewallips has some wood above and bellow the pinch.....we took out before the wood. Duckabush was all clear from Ranger Hole down.     Thanks Adam!

Awesome. Did you all run the lower section of the Dosewallips? Either of you paddling out there this weekend? I am a solid class II boater, so not sure the upper part is in my skill range (though I did take an Alpacka on it and swam the Maze and the pinch ... I am hard shelling now and would prefer not to repeat that.) There is a possibility I may come out there this weekend with some people, and having a local involved would be awesome.

No as bigwater says, we took out at the Pinch. For class II fun, put-in below the Pinch and take out on Appaloosa Dr. Or continue another 2 miles to the Canal and check out the wildlife in the Estuary. I won't be able to make it up there this weekend
