For Centralia, you need to either head out the route 12 corridor, the Olympic Peninsula, or south. The Grays river is a fun Class IV+ creek in the SW corner of the state.

The North Fork Tilton is a great creek run way close to Centralia and it's surprisingly steep. You can take the Centralia-alpah road right out of town, no I-5 at all. Look for 2500cfs and higher on the main Tilton. I can't wait for the first run on the North Fork, one of my favorites..... November is almost here
