How does one go about getting directions, information, and gauge levels for Canadian Rivers?  I'm looking to get more info on the Thompson specifically.
Are there any boating forums up there or good websites?
Thanks ahead of time!
Megan

Camp at Skihist - $23 CAD/night. Level is good right now. We were just up last weekend, we had a good time.

Good resource for finding Canadian paddlers.

One thing to note is that once you are on the river, you're fairly committed so carrying a breakdown and making sure everyone in your group has solid skills is a good idea.

https://kumsheen.com/ these guys run it.
It's just past Lytton BC on hwy 1; kayaks can scurry across the highway above the frog wave and make their way down the trail. This page has a graph but I would have to look up what the levels mean. https://wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/report/report_e.html?type=realTime&stn=08LF051 If you decide to go get in touch, I'd love to go, I've run it a bit and can show the lines.
More water, please.

Hey Slackin, would you be up for a run on Sunday? Thinking of heading up sat afternoon after a friend gets off of work, camping overnight and making a run on Sunday, then heading home.
More water, please.
