This Saturday is the 31st Annual Green River Cleanup.

Come on out and show some love for this local treasure of a river.

Run the Headworks, Upper Gorge, Lower Gorge, or all 3. Ground crews welcome too. All you gotta do is show up at the river Saturday am, sign in, grab a garbage bag and head down the river and do some cleanin'.

Free camping available Friday and Saturday night for all volunteers at the group camp at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park.

Flows? The will be low, but they'll be a lot higher than they were last year and we still got out on the river then, so no excuses!

How low was it last year? 527 seems REALLY low, or do you expect a release for the weekend? Just curious!

I forget the exact number but it was around 400 last year. Guess what. The Green is still fun at that level and there were boats in all 3 main sections.

there will not be a release, that is, above inflow. Currently water is being held back to fill the res and it is just about full so hopefully we'll get inflow so at least levels in the high hundreds.
