Im thinking about a good ducky for my wife that can handle class IV. ANY IDEAS? Yes, I’m still alive and okay boat class IV. We have a Tomcat II AND ITS GREAT for class III, but she needs a smaller kayak for single running.

If you can find a used Stiletto, grab it. Or really that goes for most IKs now, due to supply issues, most are hard to find in stock these days. An Aire Lynx is a great all-around boat. If you liked the double tomcat you can always get the single Tomcat. Rocky Mt Rafts has a newer IK that looks really great and is super cheap at under $700. I haven't paddled one myself, but they have good reviews and last I checked are in stock and available, which is half the battle these days.

Thanks, I will check those out. I used to have an Aire Lynx 1 from the 1990's and it was a great boat, but I noticed they are $1,600 now! Plus, the supply is short and really hard to find IK's right now...
