I guess the options since the weekend have changed, Is the MM to low to run at this level? Other than that there is the Sky below Boulder Drop or the club stretch on the green. Or a couple of laps on the snoqualmie below the powerplant.

I've run teh MM as low as 800... but it's not as fun. As far as going
tomorrow morning, I'd go pretty much wherever. But, I can't post a trip,
because for some reason this website is prejudiced against Macs. If
someone posts one, I am free tomorrow before 2, and thursday after 10.

I could do the MM early. I dont mind the low flow it might be good for a first run down. Name the time and I'll post a trip, Gabe and Kyle are you guys game?

It's not just Mac's. Sometimes it takes me 20 or 30 tries to post a trip. No clue why it works sometimes and not others.
As for tomorrow, I'm tempted to be sick. I'd prefer the Sky, Boulder Drop is not too scary for me at this level and easy to portage if I'm not into it. Truthfully I'd do anything, even run laps on the yo yo stretch of the Green.

I'm up for anything. I'd do a low water MM run or from the
railroad bridge down to Big Eddy. The Green would be fun as
well, I haven't been down there yet.
I would have to carpool from Seattle, though.
Again, it sounds like morning is best for all of us so we are back
by 2pm, right Jason?
Someone should post a trip in the other forum and we can
continue this over there. I have a Mac too, so I'll leave it to
someone else.

Back by 2 is my only requirement, and if you need a ride, I'll be leaving
from capitol hill whenever is necessary. I've never done the green, but I'd
love to. Only, I don't want to go without someone who had run it before.

Ok somebody make a call and I'l post a trip. I have no preference. Are we talking the yo-yo stretch of the green or the gorge(which is below rec flows). I'm not sure I'm up for the gorge,but I'm pretty open to whatever is running. Gabe I live in greenlake(not actually in the lake) if you need a ride. Seems like everybody wants to get some. MM and sky also work, The sky would be a push for a 2pm egress.

My vote is for the Green yo-yo stretch (currently @ 1000 cfs),
but time requirements may lead us to Powerhouse or the Club
Stretch of Snoqualmie. I'm fine with any of those options.
The MM is just shy of running right now, maybe overnight rain
will change that. Or maybe 900 cfs is still ok. I'd like to do that
run with someone who knows it, though.

Also, Tom you live close to me (I'm in Northgate) so if you
wouldn't mind picking me up, that would be cool. Depending on
vehicles and racks, maybe all three of us could carpool.

I'd do anything but Power House... though my votes would be 1. MM if it
rains tonight 2. Green 3. Snoq.... Perhaps we should tentatively plan on
the green, but with teh option to amend if the MM comes up again.

Wow I didnt know there were so many people bored at work like me. The green sounds good I also havent been there. Timing is an issue for some, I just need to get back by 7pm to cook my wife dinner. I will second the green!

Ok the green seems to be the general consensus, If we only have 3 boaters, can we do a bike shuttle? ANy other takers on the green? we could use an extra vehicle. What time do we need to muster the troops?

I'd go for a low water run on the MM, or the Skykomish. The Yo-Yo stretch on the Green is not much fun, I would almost rather do the Headworks at the current level than Yo-Yo. The Yo-Yo section has a lot of flat water over very little distance, and only one good surf wave that you have to catch on the fly.

Why don't we try and get there at 1000? That'll give me lots of time to
play before my class at 2. A bike shuttle is a good idea... but we can also
take two cars if necessary. Somehow, let's organize a carpool. I have a 4-
runner, but can only fit two boats on top. Can anyone fit three people,
three boats, and three sets of gear?
By the way, which one is the yo-yo stretch?

I've never done the Green, but if Wiggins is right that the Yo-Yo stretch is
sort of boring, I say let's not do it. The weather is calling for showers, so
perhaps the Headworks or the MM will come up. I think it's better to run
something fun and low than something boring and not low. Boulder Drop
section with or without BD is another option, as is the lower sky (though
there's no good play on that section). Anyway, I'll really do anything,
though funner is better. So someone post a trip already.

Yo yo-no no, middle good to 800cfs, sky good right now, headworks ok to 900cfs, but short.

I've run the Middle Middle down to about 750. It was fun for a low water run still. For a first time run you would probably like it at this level and it's easy to read and run for those who haven't been on it before. Even House Rocks is an easy read and run if you're decent at reading water and boat scouting. You can make it harder and more fun by catching every eddy you can find and making games out of it. It can get pretty challenging. I wish I could go.

Yo-Yo is the section of the river between Flaming Geyser, and the 212th ST Bridge. It is the only section running. At 600 CFS headworks would be real low. I have done it at 670, and a week ago someone ran it at 450, but without more water it would be a struggle.
