Anyone up for some week day paddling? I have Mon-Wed off, and the Sauk and the Skagit are both flowing up here, and the Sky is still doable. Any interest?

I might be interested. I have no firm obligations after 930 on tuesday, but
I am probably too busy to go all the way up to the Skagit. Depending on
my workload, though, I might be into the Sauk or the Sky.

Kyle --

I'm free again this Wednesday, and I assume Tom is (Tom are
you out there?) Maybe we can head up to your neck of the
woods and run something. Or if the MM is in Weds we could
take another swing at it.

I can do weds. I may have to be back at 6 to scan some animals, but  that is still up in the air.  Kyle, we can come up there since you came down last time.  Lets keep an eye on the gauges, perhaps the Stilly will come up.  Pray for rain.

Skagit looks like it's at a good level. Should I post a trip?

It has been raining up here all day. We may get a bump in the levels, but it will probably not effect the upper Skagit flows. Right now my vote would go for the Sauk if it stays at the current level or goes up. The Skagit is a long way to go for most of you, and is always flowing. I'll post a trip tomarrow when I see the flows. What time is best for everyone?

Sauk sounds good. Maybe if the Stiily comes up thats another one we can tic off.  Between 10and11 would be a good time.

Which run on the Sauk are you planning? The 3+ section sounded a little on my edge of comfortablilty. What are your thoughts, i'd be comfortable with the sky. We can watch the flows and weather also.

If the Sauk comes up above 2000 let's run it. Tom, I bet it will
be no problem for you.

Kyle -- how long will it take us to get up to the Sauk from
Seattle? Maybe we could meet around 9:30 and be off the river
by lunch?

If there is no traffic it shouldn't take you any longer than an hour and 15 mins from Seattle to get to the Sauk. Figure about two and a half hours to get to the Skagit.

Your skill level should be fine for the 3+ WhiteChuck River to Clear Creek section of the Sauk. The river description is off for this run. It is runnable below 1500 CFS, and is fine at the current flow. If you are comfortable on the Sky, and the Middle Middle, then this run will be easy.
