So you might start seeing some wierd stuff going on...

Hang in there. I am in the middle of another wickedly huge update. The updates are being applied in stages and we might have little gliches to deal with as we move forward.

Here is what we can look forward too.
  • Nationwide River Database with Updated Flows by the USGS with Canadian Gauges and new Virtual Gauge tools
  • New Link Directory Tool
  • Added Support for River Beta and User Submitted Details
  • Global Community Integration - We will have participation tools to interact with other communities running on this framework. IE media sharing, event sharing and trip coordination tools.
  • For Sale By Owner tool which will replace the Gear For Sale Forum area.
  • Lost and Found tool which will replace the Lost and Found Forum area. This will also syndicate lost gear to the appropriate river details page to inform future boaters that might be in the area about your missing gear.
  • New UTube style Video Player for better streaming  video playback.
All in all there is a whole lot of new features and tools planned. So enjoy checking it out and let me know if you find some errors or problems.

1st off right on for checking out the Links page everyone.

The clicks are already adding up. We don't get money for this stuff but it still lets these sites know we appreciate the link support. Aqua-Sports is leading the way with 19, odd since you don't hear much from them these days but then again they are the only store around here that has exchanged links with us !

So onto the next topic. What is the next Module I should build for the site?
1. A gear Review tool
2. A better For Sale Board & Lost Item Board that ties in with the rivers?
3. An On-Line Store with some little PP items or hard to find items that we use?

ps Kyle I should have your suggestions on the photo page done tonight.

I like the idea of having a gear review on here, but an online store might be a good idea to help cover the costs of the site.

The costs are already dealt with. The current Google ads are paying almost the monthly server bill so were good there, and if we start selling direct ads we will only make more money so that is not an issue.

I thought the Gear Review tool might be a better choice. At least it would get more use in my opinon. Any other suggestions or should I break ground on the Gear Review?

Remember that personal websites and business websites can be added to our links page also. So if you wanna participate you can just send me your Link Request via PM or email.

Gear Review tool is up but not totally finished yet... Should be soon, but you can start using it now.
