You sure an 11:30 meet is early enough to get both runs in? Also, is 5k going to keep enough water in peshastin to run it? We're looking at a lower icicle run, should be at a nice medium/low level, lots of eddies to catch.

I agree, lets meet at 10:30 instead. What do you think Dan? According to the guidebood, peshastin is good when the Wenatchee is above 5k. I'd like to tun Lower Icicle but I have not been in my boat for a while and would like a warm up run.

Your right, 10:30 is a good idea.
As far as water levels and Peshastin vs. Icicle, let's play it by ear.
Let's talk about it at 10:30 in Cashmere.

What a great day! There were definately some changes in the river. Happy wave is gone due to a rockfall in the eddy, and possibly some changes in the riverbed feature that forms the wave. Yesterday it was greened out and rocks were blocking the access to the upper part of the eddy. It may come back in at lower flows, and it's possible that it could be there at higher flows. It looks like some more of the cliff has fallen in at drunkards, and the right side wave has definately improved (So we should probably rename it, Suburban Renewal anybody?). It also looks like trinity may start to come in at lower levels. The last big change I saw was the small wave on river left just below suffocator. Last year it tended to green out, then build up a pile over and over. Yesterday there was a well formed pile on a nice smooth wave with plenty of room to carve back and forth and retentive enough for spins.

Sweet vid!
And to clarify Yotes' point. The river-right wave at Drunkard's doesn't currently have a name that any of us could think of. Everybody just calls it "the right side wave". And since it is a big, fun feature, it should have a proper name.
After much deliberation over delicious BBQ, we propose to name it " Urban Renewal". It just seems like the right thing to do.

I can not imagine that wave not having a name, but if you want to name
it, we can certainly make the name on the Drunkards Feature and then
see what people have too say about it. I can only assume that Tom was
in on this BBQ' Planning session.

I had nothing to do with it James, although I was present.
If the wave in Metro turns out to be good (I think it will be at 4-4500cfs) I'll suggest the name Urban Renewal.
