Topic: Video: East Coast Update Posted: 30 Apr 2007 at 5:33pm |
For those of you who don't know, I'm currently traveling with the New River Academy in the South East US. This past week we spent some time at a killer hole on the Tuckaseegee river in North Carolina. It was a little shallow so you had to initiate slowly on loops but other than that it was killer.
I posted up a video and a few pics, hope you enjoy. http://professorpaddle.com/media/videoview.asp?File_Id=1382
And yeah, there are a lot of loops =). I like loops.

Heh, yeah. I had some better ones not on tape, of course ;).
And sorry for the pinching fingers in some shots...Cael was getting a little tired of filming as opposed to paddling. Also, just to give credit, the pics I uploaded were taken by Matt West

KTW I had no idea you were gone.... there are a few great combo's in there and that hole looks just straight up sick. Didn't look very shallow from the way you were attacking it!

Yeah, it really was kind of shallow though. You just had to go in really slowly and you were good. The McNasties were hard too because the trough was so steep. It made it tough to get into a back blast.
