Hey all, I'm at Ft. Lewis for the summer and am looking for people to boat with! I have until Monday off and was wondering if anyone was going this weekend, or is looking to paddle at any point this summer.  Drop me a line at 973.610.2061 or at robert.w.connelly@us.army.mil

Thanks! Rob

Right now anything, but if I had my druthers I'd like to do some class III+ to IV + river running seeing that my creek boat is out of commission for a while.

I am also new to the area (Ft Lewis) and would love to learn some of the rivers. I am mostly off on weekends but I do have monday and tues off also. Drop me an email if you want to paddle. The cispus looks pretty easy, also wouldn't mind doing middle snoqualmie. I am comfortable mostly with III/IVs, try to avoid V's.

My email is omcgrane@gmail.com

Army boaters unite!!! James - I think if we get entire float of 11 series guys together without adult supervision the results probably wouldn't be pretty. FA guys are alright, we even let them tag along from time to time... RWCkayak - are you  with the new fires bde or the fun in the sun camp based out of North Fort? - Adam

I don't boat with Arty!!! And I certainly won't boat with DAT's .... No no I am just kidding around ... its all good. But if I may poke one more joke at all you tankers ... I have yet to meet a 19 series that kayaks ... seems like they all end up in big 16ft rafts with Frames.... It has to be something with the transition of load storage or the like. Either way if you tread heads are out there lets go get wet... I wanna see if you guys sink or float!!!

MUhahaha.. .No no really I am just kidding around.. I can't thank the different tanks enough that have given me rides and a warm place to crash for the night! Keep Ruling the field guys!!!

I wasn't saying you were a 19 series Sir... Just mentioning it in case we had some Mech Mech's up in here. Just for fun too. Anyone that serves their country is spot on as far as I am concerned ... even if they are a stitch bitch!

James - Had to get your shot in there, didnt't you. You're right, though - anyone in uniform is a buddy, espescially this day in age. Too much business else where for everyone to be scrapping amongst themselves.
