Topic: Call in sick, FITW Monday!!!! Posted: 21 Oct 2007 at 9:16am |
Ok, FITW is here until the snow kills it, so looking at the weather, it looks like Monday morning will be a good time to run it. I'm willing and needing to call in sick for laps on the wall day. Any takers? Please post and I will be like a ghost at work! Come on James I will drive and pick you up from your house even!

A peeker? Did you fall down and go boom?
Mid day would work.

So, I think I may go to work for a few hours in the morning, then get up there around 12 noon or so to do some laps, solo if I have to.

I may not know until tomorrow morning, I'll bring my gear in with me so I can leave from there. I'm cautiously optimistic, hope levels wont' drop much more or it will be a boat bash fest. Do you have a cell you can be reached at?

I plan on being there too. Just found I have the day off tomorrow. I also just ripped the neck gasket on my dry suit yesterday so I may be using my backup gear. Hope it's not too cold. See you there.

Holy rising river Batman! I'm still heading up there, but will have to see how full the teapot is before jumping into that creek with unknown and limited backup personal present.

Ok, Ok, I'm coming clean, I swam in Fisherman's. Was stuck really good, but did self rescue, if thats any consolation...... First swim in 4 years, at least it wasn't on a class III river....

I think I would rather swim on class 3 than on anything harder. I just would rather take a hit to my ego than to my head I guess.
