This is the After Work Sultan discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the After Work Sultan | Trip Page

Anyone up for an after work Sultan Run on Wed?  Trip is dependent on at least one other person signing up and levels between 700 and 1100cfs.  Hopefully the dam operators don't screw it up.

Anybody?  I can't believe ya'll are going to let all this good water go to waste.

If no one's interested in the Sultan, how about CC Stilly?  It's also running.

I'm fine either way, let's just go boating.

Trip is canceled due to lack of paddlers.

Septimus Prime came to the rescue with a last minute phone call and we ran CC Stilly.

The DOE guage shows 310 cfs right now (a level I have been running it at regularly lately) but today there was a lot more water in CC than I have paddled before.  I'm wondering if the DOE guage is off after the issues they had last week.  Any body else paddled CC recently and experienced this?

It was  a fun run.  I got worked in the 1st ledge with a crowd of locals watching - no swims but i was in there a while.   At least 3 recircs.  Jon rolled in the Boulder Garden and then got surfed in a ledge just after.  A little extra water makes that run a lot more exciting.
