The Green Cleanup is this coming weekend.  sat, 5/3 to be specific.

Anyone is of course welcome.  If you are launching from Headworks or KP state Park before noon, please sign in with a volunteer.  The signin staff will have trash bags.  As you take safety breaks throughout the gorge, take a few moments and pick up trash.  Offload your full trash bags to the rafts as they roll by.

At the Flaming Geyser takeout, Friends of the Green will be hosting a BBQ.  $5 donation gets ya all you can eat.

This is a great event that celebrates the Green.  It's a great event -- come on out!

Also, all volunteers for the Cleanup are welcome to camp at the group camp at Kanaskat-Palmer and join in the campfire and dutch oven dessert contest, sponsored by WRRR.

I hope a good crowd rally's for this event. I am committed to plan and work on our event this weekend but I would sure love to see a good turn out on the green. For some reason this seems to be the only cleanup event I ever hear about and it sure is a river I love.

Thanks for all the hard work JOE, lets keep it cleann out there!!!
