I am unable to make it down with the the Lewis group. Anyone staying local this weekend? The Sauk is running...:)

I'm interested in a Sauk or Sky run.
Give a call (late or early as I'm in Bellingham.)

Which day on the Sauk? I'd be in for that, free to paddle all weekend.

I might be able to do the Sauk too, depending on time and date.

Maybe laps on the Sky on Saturday. Sauk on sunday? Maybe nooksack sunday?

I'd like to run the MM tomorrow if it stays up, or the Green gorge if it comes down a bit.  Is anyone else interested in one of those?

How bad is the hike in on the MM? I haven't been out here since they threatened to ticket cars. The green is fun at this level! Also thinking about laps on the sky on sat. So many options! Who's gonna commit?

The hike takes about 20 minutes.  It's not bad... just a 20 minute hike up a road.  I haven't done the Green gorge before so I'd like it to be lower for my first time down.

I propose Middle Middle - can we meet at 1:00?

There are people heading down to EF Lewis on Saturday...an event not to be missed, for sure.  I showed up last year, and there were like 90 PDX boaters and 10 seattle boaters.  We need to represent!

Sounds like there is interest in the Sauk for Sunday. I'm in, someone post a trip!

I can do MM on Sat, Liz. MM forecast looks good, and who can pass up a 20 min warm-up walk? 1:00 works for me.

I think I could swing the green before the MM.

Good idea, a two 'fer. It would have to be an early start to make a 1pm MM trip  What time do you think we would have to start for the double dip?

If ya wanna double dip, why not just run the Lower Gorge as well?  Saves two carries (up from Paradise and out to the put-in on the MM).  And the Lower Green at 1600 (or say 1400 by tomorrow) is at least as much fun as the MM @ 1000.

But what do I know.  Haven't got on the Green in over a year - looking forward to tomorrow.

I would be up for a upper/lower gorge combo.

I would stay off the Sauk until it hits 3500 CFS.

A case of kayak schizophrenia: so many rivers to run all at the same time!
It must be Spring.

I'll try to simplify.  I've changed the MM trip to a Green trip.

As I understand it, there is a group meeting at Paradise at 10:00 am for an upper run or upper/lower combo.

I know of another group meeting at Flaming Geyser at 12:00 pm for a lower run.  I'll be on this run.

Hopefully the two groups will meet and we'll have a nice big floatilla!  Yummy.

So I know it's lame but I will ask anyway. I only have my backup skirt and it's a "small" tube. As I am of average girth for a 25 year old well fed male, this presents issues... Does anyone have a spare (larger) skirt I can borrow for the green trip?
