This is the Saturday Sauk discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Saturday Sauk | Trip Page

Want to check out something different on Saturday, so a friend and I are headed up to the Sauk. Meet time is flexible.

Gabe,

Put me down as probable for the Sat Sauk run.  If I go, I will be in the area already and will just meet you at the Clear Creek take out at 10 am.  If the meet time changes or the trip is canceled, please give me a call at 360-202-4120.

Thanks,
John

I might join in.

Any chance of throwing in Whitechuck into the mix?

Just got back from running the Sauk.  It's clear although there is less water than I thought there would be.  Still good though.

Whitechuck has wood in the last rapid above the sauk although john was talking about cutting it out this afternoon.  But it's probably a little on the low side now anyway.

Alright, there are three of us carpooling up from Seattle, and we'll shoot for the takeout at 10am. Wiggins, glad you're coming, it's been awhile since I saw you. John, hope you can make it. Joe, I'm going to pass on the Whitechuck R., but I hope you come run with us anyway.

See you there!
Pura Vida!

Fun run on Saturday, nice boating with ya'll. I didn't get very many photos, but what I got is here:

BTW... I don't keep these folders open forever. When I reach my max amount of free space, I'll delete folders, so if you want any, grab 'em.

Sorry, wrong Saturday Sauk Pics!

I thought it was kind of fun to compare what it looked like four months ago.  God, I hate winter!  That was a gorgeous day in January, but I don't mind confessing that I bailed on that run.  It seemed plenty warm for boating when I was back in Bellingham that morning, but up the Sauk River Valley it was still cold as hell.  Not sure what the temp really was, but I'm guessing somewhere in the mid-twenties.
