I've been told there might be interest in this group in a used Shredder.  Dave and I bought a used Shredder about a month and a half ago and used it twice before deciding to sell it as we would get much more use out of a set of 12x20 regular cat tubes and paddle saddle.  It's a fun quick and light little boat - I was surprised at how light it really is, probably weighs less than an IK.

It's 12' long and in good condition.  Tubes are 12x20 which is a popular size for a small cat as well.

I still say you and Dave should give the shredder a chance. When I get a new kayak there's alwasy a period where I have to get used to it. The only way to do it is to stick it out and paddle it enough till you figure out how it works.
