Yea but you know what they say... The early bird gets the worm, and no one beats Aaron out of bed, or to the cooler.... or back in bed for that matter!

Ok - I logged in.  All unsuccessful.  How is it I am unsuccessful for the main Salmon?  There isn't even that much demand for that one.  Back door tax, I tell you.

I really want to do a middle fork/main trip...

Unsuccessful all around. Maybe I'll have better luck in getting my late season Rogue permit.

Anyone up for a pre-permit season trip on the Snake in mid May?

I ended up being too lazy to apply for any... What can I say?
Run the Middle Frk a few times, ran the Selway last year (Thanks again, Chipper for putting together an all-star crew. And it was sincerely a pleasure to have you along, Leif.)

Ran the Main Salmon years ago, and I can't say any of them are really high on my priority list for this year. I have a weird variety of other river running/paddling goals this year.

Justin, Slickhorn, and Tiziak,

I am definately down for doing a multi day run in May. My preference would be early in the month because my schedule already gives me 6 days off, but I still got a crap load of vacation time so I am flexible.

Well, I would be down with joining you guys on the Selway-- But if Darrens going (we've talked about this) it sounds like I'll need a Greenboat!!

I think I need one anyway. I got a local race in mind: but more on that later...

If you need an oarsman I would love to join you.  My raft is a 14.5 SS Sotar so it doesn't hold that much gear but I would be willing to row any raft the group comes up with.  I also have a full kitchen box with DO, stove, hand washing station, etc....

I didn't think you kayaked any more James. You better start again or you may get your butt whipped on a hard run. I will take you down the powerhouse if you need some practice or schooling.

I think part of the problem is that lots of people in our community said they were going to apply for permits, and didn't.

Also, the person who won (James) doesn't even kayak anymore. He jumps bicycles at the little kids skate parks.
