weather looks like it will be spectacular for this weekend. Are flows supposed to be decent or will it be low? (don't really know what to make of that gauge since all i know is what the takeout rock looks like)

Anybody else have beta on the Wind gage? In addition, there's always the White Salmon.....relatively sure we will do Wind/Farmlands, as I owe Lava Falls some payback....

I'm in PDX taking care of some stuff this weekend, have days free to boat though.
Chip, your plan sounds awesome, I'm more interested in checking out the Wind scene one day and hitting the WS the other than spending all weekend on the Wind.
Anyone know what the Husum gauge is at right now?

I boated Trout creek into the Upper wind 2 weeks ago and the water was well below the cup mark at the put in. A little bit low but fun.

Wind is fairly low but not super boney and still fun...pretty user friendly FYI don't know if you're racing, but I think Sunday is the race for kayaks 8.5 and under...Not sure about Husum but I think it's in the 3' range

yeah-- 5' is "low", or "the lowest side of medium low" depending on who you are and your subjectivity, or which gauge you use...
Of course, what confuses me most about the Wind, is the useage of a call-in gauge found somewhere near the Columbia, vs. the stick gauge at the Put-in for the "Stabler to High Bridge" run. This numeric value is less than the lower gauge, but all the cat boaters go by the lower gauge.
