Anyone been on the Chiwawa lately? I'd like to know what the wood situation is there.

Was there a few weeks ago at 2100 cfs and the log below Meadow creek is still there with a small gap in between it and the right bank to get by.  Pretty hard to see from upstream when you come around the corner at that level.

Jed- if you are out there listening- just a thought, but that's an idea for Sunday after we're done Cow-Poken the Snatch. Damn that sounds dirty!

I never done the Chiwawa and would be willing to check it out, potentially.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has run the Chiwawa recently?  If so, have the log jams gotten better or worse with the increased flows?  Hoping to run it with a buddy in Stiletto inflatables on June 18th.

Thanks in advance for any other intel on current conditions.

A friend was just up there yesterday and said it's good to go. There is some wood, but nothing that's not avoidable. No portages.
