went down to the upper upper cispus yesterday. the flow was 800 dropping to 750 which was a medium, approaching medium high flow. the run is much less technical at this flow and the paddle out is fun and short.
wood continues to be a concern. a lot of the stuff from last year has shifted and there is new wood as well. we were able to get around, under or over all of it w/o getting out of the boats, but keep your eyes out.
-the log below the first waterfall is still there.
-there is a new log, partially submerged (it may be problematic at lower flows) 2 rapids below the first falls.
-there is a maze of logs that lead into the old-growth portage and it kind of sends you towards the old growth. be cautious
-new wood at the top of the sieve drop
