Wait, so if I remove three posts to fix spelling errars, Hawkes can remove my edit function? You better think about it Hawktina!

I thought editing a post removed the post until edits were completed. i can barely use these damn machines so excuse me if im mistaken.

Assumption is indeed correct. Original post is drawn from the db for editing, no changes are made until editing is submitted. Lock is placed, edit made record released. For all intensive purposes editing does not remove a post, only changes it.
