The past few years have been pretty awesome. started kayaking in 2012 and havn't looked back. I would like to thank everyone that has taken me under their wing and helped me further my skill in the sport. However awesome this area is to boat in, I must say goodbye. The army has decided that I am needed elsewhere so i will be headed down to Fort Bliss in Texas. I leave on June 10th so hopefully I can get out a few more times before I leave. Again, thanks to everyone for showing me the ropes over the years, I'm gonna miss you guys.

Good luck. It's pretty dry down in EP. Maybe you can take some road trips into NM and CO

So long Nelson. I guess I'll have to come up with new reasons to go snorkeling on Christmas Eve.

Good luck in Texas.

Good luck Nelson!  There is a slalom/play whitewater park in TX, http://chasingthesun.ca/2014/us-south-west/texas/slalom-practice-at-rio-vista-water-park-san-marcos-tx/ - http://chasingthesun.ca/2014/us-south-west/texas/slalom-practice-at-rio-vista-water-park-san-marcos-tx/   , but unfortunately it's 500 miles from Fort Bliss. :(  Hope you get some time on the Wenatchee before you go!

It's all fun and games until someone loses a paddle.

This also leaves me in desperate need of a new paddle partner
