I'm busy or working every weekend and have my time off during the week. I want to get out to Leavenworth while I can before my baby is born mid-May. Anyone gonna be playing instead of working weekdays this spring?

I will be working and paddling during the week... Afternoons and evenings work best and I should have a mid week day off (Mon., Tues, or Fri not sure which but maybe even 2 days...) in May. Fairly flexible schedule so holla...

I midweek boat mostly just the Wenatchee with a little Peshastin and lower Icicle thrown in when at the right level.

Well this makes me happy. Some fellow weekday boaters. My kid will be here around the time of prime flows on the chee so I'll take what i can get for now. I have tuesday, wednesday, thursday off next week. I'm in the mode for play runs too because its been a while since I've used my creekboat or done anything above say IV-. Any further details, please keep me posted and we can meet up and also carpool. I come from lake stevens.

High water last year was first week in May so you have hope!

Wenatchee trip report today - cold and not much surfing really but still nice to be out. I had my annual forget some critical piece of equipment and had a nice drive back to Wenatchee to get my spray skirt. Figure ~5ish many days during the week and I'm out paddling so the more the merrier.

Thanks for the updates guys. I figured there'd be some good surf in those areas. I like granny's at low flows when it's retentive and snow blind has some good wave holes. I'm still planning on next week. Probably Tuesday-Wednesday. Hey n8r78, I see your PP name all the time but who are you?

I don't think I know many of the regular PP people - just a local Wenatchee boater. 5096705316 (text/call/etc) name is Nate if you want to after work boat next week.

I wouldn't completely base a trip over here on the NWRFC predictions this time of year. They seem to be pretty accurate on the westside but the Wenatchee predictions are off this time of year. You need to look at the NOAA forecast for Stevens Pass to see what it is doing up there (we need multiple warm/rainy days at higher elevations to see a real spike as there is not much low land snow this year). The Chee is still dropping because it has still been pretty cold at higher elevations.

I'm getting rather sick of 4000CFS Wenatchee that's all I can say.

In my opinion, I dont think it will get to 10k. Typically you need to see higher temps for the pass and, more importantly, near glacier peak as that is where the white flows from which is the biggest contributor to lake wenatchee.

Who is going to be over there during the day on Friday? Headed over from Eburg and trying to get on whatever may be running. Thinking Tumwater but am open to suggestions.

Anyone around for a late play run?

Late Peshastin run if NF Teaneway bombs?

Late meaning after noon but before dinner.
