I got a boat again and am wondering if the Ben Howard wave is still there? I know it comes and goes… I would appreciate the info; PM me if you don't want to spoil your scene. Reward of one six-pack of home-brews for info leading to park n play at Ben Howard or other nearby waves. 'Might go check it out today. Hope to see you guys out on the river.

Hey Jay!   Yep, moved back a month or two ago, creeking a little rusty as no water in Cali for last couple years, but lots of play boating as make up.    So glad to be back in WA-- ran the sky last weekend and it was like seeing an old friend!

Jed-- look at the river report for Big Eddy to Monroe for details on BHW, though not sure how current the beta is, hence this thread.

It's a wave. Next to Ben Howard road.

Does that clear it up?

Hide your Sha-Beep!
Went there for about an hour two years ago. Two out of the five cars parked there were broken into. The fisherman said their gear was in view and stolen after the window was smashed. He also stated that it wasn't the first time and they should have known better.
Other than that... Great place to take people for working on their roll in moving water + the obvious surf.

Had three years in exile myself so I know the feeling! It was amazing how much I missed a river that we all sort of take for granted.

Check your PM's.
