Whitewater related subjects only URL: http://www.professorpaddle.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=15503 Printed Date: 27 Apr 2024 at 7:55am Topic: Upper Skagit Posted By: Slackkinhard Subject: Upper Skagit Date Posted: 23 May 2016 at 10:07am The previous post convinced me to ask since I didn't find anything with a search.  Yesterday I traveled home westbound along hwy 20 and stopped to check out the upper Skagit as it cascaded down from the Diablo lake dam to Nehalem.  INCREDIBLE is all I have to say.  Having stopped and taken pictures in the past, even climbed down to where I didn't belong(Yes I realize it's a No Go zone), now that I've picked up kayaking, it had a totally different interest.  Some of that stuff I don't know if it would go or not, but I'm pretty sure someone around here has tried??? Just wondering....PM if ya don't wanna air it out in public
