I posted a thread about these before, and I had a few with me at the PP Ball, but my advertising campaign was rather lacking (too busy runnin rivers and drinkin' beer..) but I have finally gotten around to posting this. So here's the info...
Secure your gear with the Shaft-Lok! Paddle Locking system! Use the Shaft-Lok in conjunction with a padlock and another cable or chain to secure your paddle and kayak from those pesky tweaker thieves! The Shaft-Lok's rubber coated cable is designed so that when a padlock is threaded through the two ends, it creates a secure loop so that the paddle cannot be slid out, thus detering theft or unauthorized use. Keep your gear!

**Disclaimer** The Shaft-Lok is not guarenteed to prevent theft, it merely provides a deterent to potential thieves. Nothing can be totally secured from a truly motivated person with the right tools and determination. Think of it like the locks on your car doors. They keep the honest person honest. If a thief really wants it, they will do what is necessary to get it. But at least you can slow them down.
