Don't worry about it Jonathan, Scott's style over the 2nd drop will forever immortalize him in glory whenever anyone talks about that rapid. I'm going to go so far as to say it's a ~34' into an ~11'.

Why not catch that little eddy about 10 feet down on river right? That would break it up a little bit, maybe make it easier on your back?

The day we ran that there was no little eddy, it may have been over double the flow of other photos and trips I have seen in there. It was my first time so I don't really know but it seemed to be juicy.
