I usually don't just go out and buy a boat without first taking it for a demo trip, but decided to go ahead and buy an Agent 6.4 right off the shelf. I weigh in at around 225 lbs and have paddled a KingPin quite a bit as well as my favorite playboat ever, the Liquidlogic Vision. We ran the BC Chehalis run on Saturday, putting on at Statlu Creek (stellar run for those that haven't done it) and played our way down the river. The first things I noticed about the boat were that at 225 lbs, the edges were pretty grabby, much more than the other two playboats I have owned, and that the bow or stern, dictated by your body position would "dive" as you went through the features in the rapids. In my Vision, if this happens, I start paddling on edge and the problem is fixed, but in the Agent 6.4 it didn't seem to help. I've only taken it on two runs so far, but I'm not particulary happy with the boat right now and to be honest its probaly not the boat, but rather my paddling style that may not fit the boat. It does seem to do very well on waves and I think that James comment about the boat being a great destination wave design, and perhaps not the greatest downriver player may hold true for me as well.
