2007 Mountain Hardware Compressor jacket
Reviewed by: James on 11/26/2007Rating :

The Compressor is a lightweight synthetic jacket from Mountain Hardware.

I have used this coat for a few months now and I am very very pleased. The main benefits that I would not are packed size, and warmth.

This thing packs down into the size of a large orange and once you put it on your going to be sweating unless your out in freezing or below weather.

This is easily the smallest / warmest combination underlayer I have ever used and it is great for more reasons. The outer fabric is not waterproof, however it is very resistant and works quite nice in the mist without starting to let water through. Combined with the fact that this is synthetic and you have your perfect NW combo. Water resistance and water durability.

I have a friend that even wears his under the drysuit for that added snuggle of warmth in class V. Truly a very versatile piece of clothing.

Usually Priced at $170 check out REI and local shops for sales... Right now they are only $110.0 at REI.
