  Fun Facts

The run is close to Port Angeles and often runs at the same time as the Mosh Pit

   Run Description [Season: Spring Fall]

This Creek is a doozie. For such a small volume of water this creek flows very very well with very few spots that are shallow.

The run starts with a few little shallow gardens before reaching the first spiraling ledge with a small pool at the bottom.

From the first ledge to the next significant set there are a few small rapids and ledges but not much gradient loss.

The main crux of the run is a double set of ledges that starts with a 10 foot drop into a small little grotto style gorge. The gorge is not very deep but it turns around a tight bend so scouting the second ledge is almost impossible. After the first straight forward curtain falls you will leave the pool and drop down a 6-7 foot tall ramping slide. Don't let it fool you, it has served up some beatdowns. Don't run it on the right unless your ready to give it hard. The standard line is down the left with a left boat pitch to grind off the last little flake on the left. This ledge empties out into a coffee pot style pool that slowly feeds back into itself which is what makes swims nasty here.

Below the double ledge is a fun low angle 20-30 foot slide that empties out into another small pool.

There are several more ledges and a small water fall at the end, depending on water levels you may have to portage one or two if the flow is not enough to clean the entrances.
