AccessKorb describes it well. Perfection Falls is located ~1/4 mile downstream of the bridge over Donkey Creek (you will see a small ledge upstream of the bridge). To check out the waterfall, head back west from the bridge, and pull out on the right. |

Run Description [Season: ]First off, if you happen to be in the area and Donkey Creek has enough water, then go a few miles up FR 2204 and check out the WF Humptulips Gorge.
I can’t recommend running Donkey Creek, but parking and hucking the 12 foot “Perfection Falls” is worth it. It is a quality drop, with a sloping lip and then enough free-fall to be enjoyable. Downstream are two more drops, a marginal 25 footer and then a very manky, somewhat involved class V drop. During the portage around the manky rapid I noticed a well-marked trail,a great place to hike out ‘cause there aren’t any other significant rapids downstream. I wouldn’t take beginners here due to the numerous log jams.
