   Run Description

This the the highest part of the entiat that allows for road side access. The sections above are all Hike in. This run starts rather slowly but with quick moving class II. The banks are very brushy and about 1 mile into the run around a quick corner is the first Rapid called Rubber Neck. This rapid at one time was a class III but it is now more of a class IV-V rapid. There is a sizeable ledge and headwall to negotiate along with a pretty continuous lead out.

Below this first major rapid is a continuous portion of whitewater leading up to your next set of larger ledges. After this set of ledges there are a few more clearly visable horizon line style ledges and class III stretches before arriving at the Falls. The falls are easy to scoot over in the middle or on the right, the left has a line but the consequence of mistake would be deadly, scout!

Below the falls the run is mostly class II taking out where ever you choose.
