Did some recon driving out to this run on 1/24/16 and found Bennett's logoistics to be spot on. The bridge over the Nisqually, on the way to the put in, has been rebuilt. There is a gate early on, up the 1 road, but it was open which made driving to the put in pretty easy. The only things that prevented me from getting all the way by car were: several large downed trees requiring a chainsaw (didn't bring that) and a big washout about a half mile before you get to the put in bridge. You could probably bushwhack straight down to the river, from the washout, but it's an easy downhill stroll to the bridge via the old road bed. I would guess the washout happened earlier this fall. Likely that repairs won't be completed until spring/summer some time. Take out is easy too.

  Putin Details

Half mile hike from a newish washout down to the bridge over the creek.

  Other Issues

Inconvenient wood at the bottom of the second gorge necessitating a lengthy portage on river left.

   Run Description [Season: Rainy]

Looking from the put in bridge, not having done the run, I would guess the level on 1/24/16 to be a med-low to med flow. Level on the Mineral Creek gauge today was about 1000 falling slightly and temps were in the lower to mid 40's in the area with partly sunny skies. Temps have been warmer the last 4-5 days with rain , which has helped greatly to melt the lingering snow at the top of the pass on the way to the put in. Minimal snow up there now and easy to get through. It's not too high, elevation-wise, but is at the top of the hill there, where it is, and subject to lower elevation snow accumulation, so be careful when choosing this run. Probably better in that regard, for early fall.
