On the way you can stop and scout large sections on the lower half of the run. There is a put in for the lower half as you drive. It is marked quot;Kayak Put Inquot; ignore this sign and keep truckin'. You will go up two large hills, past the suspension bridge. The road will flatten and you can no longer see the river. There will be a pull off, marked with a sign from the Interpretive Forest on the left, Park here and walk down 20 feet to the river.

   Run Description

The cheak is a great morning warmup or anytime run.

The run starts out with a nice 12 foot water fall that quickly leads into the rest of the run. From the falls are several fun class III rapids before coming to Bridge Drop which is the first class -IV rapid before Triple Drop.

Triple Drop is a series of three ledges that ends with a large hole in the middle of the second ledge. Stay LEFT But Scout Right! The Third Ledge is no longer significant.

From Triple Drop there are several more fun rapids that are III-IV drops but the crux is the Triple.

The last rapid on the run has a large collection of wood on the river left. Make sure to run hard right around the rock to stay clear of the wood.
