   Run Description

First off, I have to say I haven't acutally run this section. The one time we went to run it, the first drops were totally clogged with wood to the point that even portaging was nearly impossible, so we just aborted the run.

Since then the creek has cleaned up, but still has some very serious drops. The following beta is from a walk-in scout:

Just 100 yards downstream from the put-in get out on the right to scout. The first rapid starts out class III but quickly becomes IV, then V+ further down. There are some very narrow lines, wood and some horrible looking undercuts. Below this first long rapid there is a short pool, and downstream from that point it looked like there were some nice class IV boulder gardens for a while.

Unfortunately, the lower few miles of this run is all bony class 2 and likely wood portages.
