I try to boat with river folks whose skill levels are better than mine and learn what I can from them. I allso bring extra calories, nuts, chocolate and meat sticks or jerky. Plenty of water way more than I think I need. Extra warm clothes for a extra layer and a pint of Kayaker fluid (Drambuie liquor). and fire starter and lighter and space blanket just in case I get stuck out overnight so I don't push through darkness or bad situations just because I don't have any other options.]]>

It seems the wood is the major challenge for both runs. Maybe 500 for a good low. Haven't paddled the upper yet, though i would wager, if you doubled the levels in Bennett you'd be close&#129335;&#127999;&#8205;&#9792;&#65039;]]>
