I finally broke down and ordered a new paddle. Werner Graphite 194mm bent shaft player with 20 deg feather. I can hardly wait to get it. My paddle has almost no blades left after 15 years on the river!

Bravo!  I have been throughly satisfied with my new Sidekick from Werner.  I wish I had saved up and spent the money on it in the first place.  See ya on the river!

I have a player I have borrowed from the dealer and it is amazing! The down turned blades and the bent shaft really dial in when playing and power stroking. It just is like night and day compared to a conventional paddle. I can hardly wait till my paddle comes!

Werner has just given birth to a brand new player, I can hardly wait to pick it up. Maybe tomorrow.

On another note James, why is FITW on the board, there is still 12feet of snow up there, I just snowshoed down the road and there is no access to the river yet. FITW proper is a tunnel with water coming out of it. That would be rush running that!
