I'm going to run railroad bridge to big eddy on Sunday.  The time is flexible but I'd love to have time to run it again or run the upper section.

This is a warm-up run for me getting back on the river after shoulder surgery.  Anyone else interested?

I live in Fremont, car pooling would be awesome.  I'm not sure how many peeps I'll have with me but I can fit 3 (including myself) in my Jetta.  Thats right a Jetta!

Ryan -- I'd be interested in a run on the Sky on Sunday.  I live in Eastlake (not to far from you in Fremont) and might be able to carpool, but I do need to be back in Seattle by about 2 PM.  Would you be OK getting a bit earlier start, so I could be off the water by 1:00 at the latest?  (I can always drive myself and quit after one run if you plan on doing a second run with others.)  Let me know-

Brent

Sounds good.  Meet at Big Eddy, or do you want to caravan/carpool from Seattle?(Of course, car pool assumes there are others going since I'm assuming neither one of us wants to bike shuttle.)

caravan/carpool sounds good.  I may have one or two more coming with me but not sure yet.  Obviously need 2 cars and a 3rd if Brent leaves early and we want to do another run.

We should meet on eastlake somewhere Sunday morning and figure everything out.  Coffee at 9 somewhere on eastlake?  I'll let the 2 eastlakers name a place.

How about Grand Central Cafe -- it (unlike most places in Eastlake) has a large parking area.  It is at 1616 Eastlake (between Garfield and Blaine).  See you there.

Here's the deal.

Erik is coming to my house at 8:45am and we'll drive to meet Michael and Brent at Grand Central Cafe (1616 Eastlake) at 9:00am and figure out carpool/caravan.

We'll leave from there and meet Chris (not from this forum)  in Bothell somewhere off 405 or 522, continue caravan to Big Eddy.

David, we should be there around 10ish.  Note the "ish" b/c I doubt we'll be on time.  Easiest thing will be to call me.

AGAIN, Big Eddy at 10:00am not 11.

Please call me tonight or tomorrow morning if you decide to not go.

Hey, hope this isn't too late.  I'm pleasantly surprised to see all the boaters in Fremont/Ballard area!  I live in Ballard, 8th and 50th.  I'm interested in Cable Drop, if any of you guys are, too, although if everyone is more psyched on Big Eddy I could do that, too.  I got a truck w/space for 1 more boat (under 6'8") and a couple people.  632-2629

Erik G,

meet at the coffee shop at 9 and we'll figure everything out.

I usually would rather run cable drop but I wanted to start with something i know and easy for my 1st run back from surgery.

Thanks to everyone that showed up.  Good first day back on the river.

There ended up being 8 of us meeting up so it was  a great crowd.

I'm thinking cable drop next weekend unless the middle middle come in.
