I am writing today to ask for your help. It has been 30 years since LCPUD was ordered to provide lower Cispus access, uninterrupted access. The boating community has turned up the heat, including private legal representation to speak to this issue. But we need more voices.

**What we need today is your comments filed with FERC.**

LCPUD was ordered in March to address the access issues, was granted an extension and finally filed their incomplete and inadequate response 16 Sept. We really need folks to file comments about the lack of access problem.

This link (below) takes you to WKC forum where you can read The why and HOW to file comments. There is sample language, and comments filed by others (including NPS) to read for examples. The goal is to keep comments high level....we don't have access, that's the message.

Please, please take time to write FERC. Reading comments filed by others (on WKC website) will probably satisfy most of your Qs.

Thank you in advance for filing comments.

Hello Paddlers,

Thank you for reading this post! We received great news today. The comments filed with FERC insofar were sufficient to demonstrate that there is a problem with this issue.

The WKC forum posts have been revised to reflect this but still provide information on this issue, and how to file with FERC in general about any FERC project (like Sunset Falls).

You can still file comments with FERC, they are welcome any time.

Thanks again for staying active in river access issues. Your voice makes a difference, as we've seen here, and as we did last year with the Tanner Rd take-out.

-Renee
